Rosse is the owner of Louisiana Purchase. Combining his love for
wine and the education of the "Wine Process", Mark schedules
numerous meetings with growers, vintners and wine makers per year.

As for his domestic palate, "My choice is the Silver Oak Vineyards,
since 1974 they have produced only Cabernet and to me they are the
best". "Aged in American Oak with sweet vanilla aroma's".

The general rule for most restaurants coast to coast is a
"substantial markup, sometimes fair, it's all relative".
He added, "My guests
feel more comfortable spending a little extra for a bottle of wine
when they know it is a value".

Mark on Wine Dinners!
"Wine dinners facilitate fun and education. I try and match the
best between wine and the food. I engage only the wineries
with a large enough selection to handle a five, six or seven course
meal".
"They must have more than Chardonnays, Cabernets and Sauvignon
Blanc. For the wine dinner to be a success we must have the
food and wine both having greatness separately...and together. We
want something
different and glorious".
Mark feels strongly about the story behind
the wine. He adds, "I feel that people will remember details
about the individual people, family or even their pet dog associated
with specific vineyards, than they will the actual wine itself."
"All palates are different so it has to be that the art of wine
tasting is truly subjective."
